Here's a little bit about what she's like at 18 months:
-She is busy, busy, busy! Only sits down when she has a really good snack to eat!
-She's finally eating better- eats pureed vegetables/fruits, loves spaghetti sauce (which I sneak all kinds of veggies into), eats yogurt, fruit, hotdogs, cheese, will eat most anything we're eating for dinner- the stronger flavor the better, loves waffles, eats eggs, loves using a fork, eats oranges, watermellon, strawberries, apples, grapes... The list goes on and on!
-She talks NON STOP! I have written down over 100 words she says- and I know I have missed many- new ones come every day! She is pairing words together to make phrases- "daddy car" or "mommy go." Always "bye bye Mimi" when we leave the house.
-She only stops talking when she needs to sing a song! She has made up her own "Mommy song," "Daddy song," "nanana song" (she says nana for "I want that!"), She can sing the tune (NOT the words) of Old MacDonald and Twinkle Twinkle little star
-She is very brave: She loves swimming, sliding, swinging, climbing things, etc.
-She LOVES cooking and baking with me. We made a cake this week and she sat on the counter and watched the whole time, kissed the mixer and said "bye bye mix" before getting down!
-She has learned to "pray" before meals or bed. She says "hand" and reaches for your hand, sits very quietly, and then says "amen!"
-She suddenly LOVES playing with her babies! She puts her baby "night night" and gets her out 20x a day!
-I could go on and on- Elyana is so smart, and funny, and happy, and adorable! We are so blessed to be her parents! Can't believe she's gonna be a big sister within the next few weeks (or maybe sooner- who knows...)
